The patient asked, \u201cDid you get a parking space?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t have to be a hospital setting, but people often ask the driver if they can park easily. I was asked this very question today when visiting an elderly friend at the rehabilitation hospital where she had an ankle reconstruction. Knowing the pressure on hospital car parks all too well, I decided to park several hundred metres away in a side street. Out of interest, I looked at the car park when I entered the hospital, and indeed, it was full. People in the hospital are generally grateful for visitors, but it is interesting to note that they do not want their visitors to experience stressful parking situations.<\/p>\n
